S.F. Bay Area Marklin Dealers, Who's Left?

Postby SelwynEddy on Sun Jan 18, 2009 5:43 pm

Hi,

Just learned the other day that Tin Plate Junction is closing up at the end of this month, D&J is no longer carrying Marklin, Talbot's I've been told is also cutting way back on M products, other shops and stores have closed up in recent years, so that seems to leave us with just one "well stocked" dealer in the entire Bay Area, LocoBoose in Redwood City. Is this correct?

Is there "any" store left in Northern California that stocks any significant Marklin products anymore?

Maybe I'm missing something, but then again...

Thanks,

Sel Eddy

Locoboose is pretty much the best one.

There is a tiny amount at Franciscan Hobbies, as does Chans (possibly more than Franciscan though).

I am not so up to date with the East Bay stores...
